Edmonton resident, Selena Elniski has resided in many places around the world through her travels. Her love of the eclectic and fear of the mundane have led her to explore a variety of creative mediums. Her health care background has resulted in an appreciation for the “simple” things in life, while her graphic communications experience has given her a flare for the extraordinary . . . .  . colour and pizzazz.

Using paper of earth toned hues and a multitude of textures, Selena creates unique African abstracts in India ink. Each framed piece is a hand painted original inspired by the beauty and simplicity of Africa. These abstract art forms have represented life on African plains through the generations and have been used for storytelling throughout the years. Enjoy the spirit of this culture!
